Hudyat Ed in Chief wins Valencia Award
Hudyat Editor in Chief, Almira Kaye F. Cuadra won an award in the NCR's Teodoro Valencia Search for Outstanding Campus Journalists and School Publication held at Makati High School, February 2.
Cuadra once again proved her worth as a campus writer winning this time in the Feature Writing category. It could be recalled that she won different awards in the Copyreading and Headline Writing and Newswriting categories and was adjudged one of the Most Outstanding Campus journalists of the Philippines in the 2008 National Schools Press Conference.
Together with the other winning campus journalists from the different divisions of the National Capital Region, she received medal and certificate in the awarding ceremonies held March 2.
As officer of the NCR Secondary Schools Editors Guild (NCRSSEG) Cuadra, together with the other officers assisted the officers of the School Paper Advisers Group during the awarding program.
